Guest tmn0004676 Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Hi I've got an official UK spec Omnia II. I've been looking at the Samsung WidgetPlus....I'm a bit disappointed that so few decent widgets are available...at least the official ones. Are the widgets country specific...does anyone know how I can download additional ones? thanks
Guest hangman11 Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 there is a widget for you to download new widgets, check ur widget manager, it may be hidden.

Actually that reply was not real helpful. I do own Mobile Shell 3.5 and I think it is pretty good but I am kind of liking Touchwiz. Yes it is a little laggy but once used to it, it isn't bad. And I can see after someone shells out $300 for a new phone, the last thing they want to do is to shell out another $30 for something the phone does (or should do) already. Maybe one day I may switch UIs but I agree with the original posters that Samsung should really have more widgets available. My fear is that with them coming out with a new UI (I think it is called BADA or something), development of touchwiz widgets may not be a high priority. And yes, you can add as many shortcuts to programs as you want in SPB MS3.5 but their widget selection is even worse then Samsung's.
