OmniaII and Titanium Panels Easy Way

There is a topic about it Link, but very very complicated. Requires Editing "SPlugins_480X800.cpr" file in "\Windows" etc. etc. I think I made that 13 pages history, for most of the users.

The problem is, Samsung Engineers renamed Titanium_480x800.cpr file to SPlugins_480X800.cpr, so utilities and plugins designed for wm 6.5 in general don't work for us.

Now all (WVGA ones) will work for us.

I realized that, most of the plugins or utility for Titanium plugins, contain a file named ATPluginInstaller.exe. This .net exe file has the code below, two times:

I only hexedited that file to contain below text. Just simple hexedit.

   ldstr "\\Windows\\SPlugins_{0}x{1}.cpr"

This package includes my patched ATPluginInstaller.exe, and two patched utility / plugin: CHome Editor V1.6Beta and Titanium Notification

If you could add/remove to/from cabinet files like me, just delete ATPluginInstaller.exe and add mine, to make OmniaII compatible plugin cabinets

You need to install mortscript utility for certain panels. You don't need to download a preconfigured SPlugins_480X800.cpr file. Just use the plugins just like ordinary WM6.5 users.

Just an idea if it is possible to do without modifying cabinets:

Maybe copying patched ATPluginInstaller.exe to \windows folder may be enough. I'm not sure where winCE try to run an executable first? \windows folder or Default installation folder?

Another step may be necessary is to delete ATPluginInstaller.exe from Plugins' cabinet file, or from plug-in's installation folder before enable / execute.

Somebody may try.

Here are the screenshots. I added Titanium Notification, and ordered plugins so that first one is SClock, and Second one is CHome (Titanium Notification)

If you want plugins' cabinet files to be patched, just request here, and I will add to my topic.

If you include a screenshot, this topic would be more eye-catcher than the first one

And this is un-modified Splugins_480x800.cpr from secany's PDA ROM IJ9, if you need: SPlugins_480x800.rar

Edit: I modified CHome (Titanium Notification) installer to be compatible with Microsoft Excange Server mails. If you downloaded my first version, and see the mails as on post #11, then un-install - re-install CHome. I also giave information in post #2

Note: Good news. There is another Titanium installer here:TCIS and here: TCIS It can correctly define main cpr without assumption, sucs as i8000's SPlugins_480X800.cpr

In the future, more plugins could be installed without modification if developers use TCIS instead of ATPluginInstaller.exe

I'm using that mortscript: MortScript_4.2_PPC.cab

You don't need mortscript to see Titanium screen but certain panels, such as Titanium Weather need it.

and edit your \Windows\SPlugins_480x800.cpr file so that 3rd line is included as below, before installation of my cabinet.

Make sure that \Windows\SPlugins_480x800.cpr's file attribute is not read only before installing cabinet to prevent getting an error report during installation

You must also have to be downloaded sv0911's Fulscreen folder (15 MB archive) and copied to your "\Storage Card". Just use my cabinet file instead of him.

You need to install the plugin to main memory but 15MB pictures to Storage Card.

You may need to install sdkcertsnew2015, as he stated in his first post

I prefer editing SPlugins_480x800.cpr file instead of copying a pre-edited Titanium_480x800.cpr file (for cooked roms as sv0911 did) to \windows folder

I have the Verizon Omnia2 and my clock panel says "Seoul" -- as in Korea...how can I change it to where I actually am?

My time zone is set properly in the settings..

Also FYI the weather plug's radar tab and the links tab both give errors when trying to connect (url not found or something)..so I just disabled them.

It's wm 6.5 Default launcher, and even Samsung enabled it default in PDA IL2 ROM.

İf you see Samsung Widget's your screen, then To activate the plugin on Samsung i8000, goto Settings-->Display and Light-->Items on Today. Uncheck "Samsung WidgetPlus" and check "Windows Default".

BTW, don't you have good Launcher Titanium Plugin suggest?

Sorry, there must be a problem with radar software or it's servers, but I can't fix.

I found the Plug-in here Link , installed the cabinet, weather didn't updated, googled, found an updated TitaniumWeather.mscr Here , updated the cabinet with that mscr

There is a radar program here, but I don't want to waste my time to integrate it.

That's why I want cabinet file and a screenshot from users here. I'm not a Plugin expert, and I don't want to find and try best settings for plugins. I can just replace a file in the plug-in's cabinet file.

People use them but don't describe how did they setup, like Link

There are a lot of plugins for wm 6.5 general, but sometimes they must arranged to work on Omnia's WVGA screen.

If you are using Titanium panels on OmniaII, please share us your cabinets and screenshots here. If possible, share patched plugins, or request me to patch them.

I just edited the WM7 Titanium Project cab from XDA - once I finish running SPB Backup on my phone, I'm going to give it a shot. If it works, I'll post the edited cab.

I installed it the old way (edited Splugins cpr) so i cant really test it now since it already works for me. Hopefully someone else can try it out, its a nice plugin.

Its Ccalendar. I had the same issue with Scalendar as you. There is a problem with the splugin cpr from the other thread that causes that.

You can take the layouts from the original splugin that asus535 uploaded a while ago (post9) to fix this.

Tbh though scalendar kinda sux since it doesnt show your next appointment unless you select it.

Maybe there is a way to make Ccalendar point to samsung calendar instead of the windows one? I tried but failed ;).

It seems that this is a known issue with exchange email accounts, and all the fixes they have there do not work for me...man this is frustrating ;)

I give up, I'll just go back to using the single panels for each..text, phone, email, vm..oh well.

Edit: I patched above mentioned file. It was actually, not a real cabinet file, seems packed with winrar or something.

I think, I've managed it to create an installable one. I installed it to my OmniaII, but I don't have an e-mail account.

Please try, the bottom file and inform us if it works. I looked at the file at post 192 but it is for qVGA Link

I red your post at XDA. This is patched P3, and properly made cabinet file.

You can install it even you have a Splugins_480x800.cpr created with older method.

If it is working, I will post it to xda thread, as a real cabinet file.

I also can't see CMessage or CWindowsLive plugin, even I enabled and arranged them with CHome Editor (posted in 1st post)

in my first two pictures in the first post, CHome shows that, CWindowsLive is between SCalendar (Turkish: takvim) and SFavorites (Turkish: Sık Kullanılanlar), but it is not exists in Titanium screen.

May i request CMessage plugin to be ported? I cannot seems to enable CMessage using the app from over xda. It would be great because i am using original windows mobile message app. Thank You.

I've Turkish CSC ROM. is it the reason?

Hello I'm facing a problem, it does not work in my I8000 with Official 6.5 upgrade. since the file SPlugins_480X800.cpr is marked as ROM (as well READ ONLY, HIDDEN and SYSTEM) tried(Total comander and Resco file explorer), then since Chrome editor now knows where to find the rigth file, it can not make any modification on the file SPlugins_480X800.cpr.

Chrome only can change the order on the default plugins.

Please any idea ?

Strange, I don't have that problem with PDA IL2 ROM.

You may try to copy my SPlugins_480X800.cpr (extracted form IJ9) to your \windows folder.

Don't be afraid. It must work. You can copy files over the ROM. When you delete that file, the one in the ROM re-appears.
