Guest asus535 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 I'm having the same issue with that link to TitaniumWeather on the second page. Is the file corrupt? Is there another link to the patched file? Seeing as CLauncer and CNotifications work it's likely that TitaniumWeather would too -- and all of this would be mute -- but I'm not sure why the one d/led from the link found in the second-post won't install download here: TitaniumWeather_v4.zip
Guest nap_rz Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Hey, I got a few pm's about my titanium screen, so ill try to explain here for anyone interested. DO NOT FORGET TO KEEP BACK UP OF EVERY FILE YOU MODIFY!!! I cannot find other plugins in the .cpr files, clauncher for example...
Guest bobor Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 download here: TitaniumWeather_v4.zip Thanks asus535, that worked beautifully!! I've really become enamored of Winmo's 6.5 interface. After fooling around with this for a bit I have a couple of questions I hope someone can answer: 1) I had to install the TitaniumWeathr cab, Chome and MortScript into Main memory in order for everything to work properly -- do I need to install all the other Titanium plugins such as CLauncher, Notifications etc. in Main memory as well? The stock Omnia doesn't leave much to begin with 2) If I make anything other than the installed Opera my default browser is there a way to make the stock panel point to the new browser? Or is it easiest just to make up a panel for the new browser? 3) like I said earlier, I've really come to like Titanium but SPB Mobile shell has some functionality in it that I'd like to use -- If I install SPB Mobile Shell will it become the default Today Screen?
Guest krimsin Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 Hey all... For what its worth I believe I figured out a problem I was having... See previous posts from me. Looks like either Windows Live or Communicator were causing me issues. I uninstalled them and was able to get all of the plugins I wanted installed and working, including Fave People which I have attached. Once I got it all working I reinstalled Communicator and Windows Live and all is good. Just wanted to say thank you very much for your fix. I was having the exact same issue and I'm still very new to editing/modifying WinMo.
Guest WolfpackInCO Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 For those of you struggling to add panels to the i920, go to Marketplace and search for "home screen", and download Home Screen Customizer. It will allow you to add many of the panels that you are missing.
Guest Snow02 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 halo :) someone knows how to change the location of picture folder which are shows in titanium pictures panel? default location is in my documents/dcim or smth like that, but i want to change the location to storage card, can i do that? Guest mfsav2 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 I've tried to modify the Titianium but ended up in a mess. The Titanium Weather 4.2 is not able to download the radars (I get an error) and when I click on a day I get an error on Titanium Weather.exe The CComm does not appear I tried CHeroClock 0.1 but it does not appear. I'm quite depressed. How can I roll back to the original setup? I've tried to uninstall the CHome Editor but it did not reverted back to the standard. I usually install everything on memory card, I've tried even to install in main memory without any result. Can anyone help me ? Thanks, M
Guest asus535 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) I installed all panels to main memory. They are small. Weather Panel's radar is not working so I disabled it. To go back to original Titanium, manually un-install all panels as they are seperate applications. Then copy original cpr, to \windows folder download and un-rar from here: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=43363 The Titanium Weather 4.2 is not able to download the radars (I get an error) and when I click on a day I get an error on Titanium Weather.exe How can I roll back to the original setup? Guest asus535 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) I myself tried patched ATContacts (Fave people) and CComm panels, and confirmed that working. You can download CComm patched by Shemmy from here Download Link or frm here: CComm_V0.32_by_Shemmy.cab You can download ATContacts from here Download link or from here: ATContacts_v098.zip or from here: Download link here are the screenshots: AT Contacts and ............................ CComm (under CGPS) I've problems with CGPS and CAnalogClock You can see the problems here. I am not planning to use CAnalogClock in the future, but if you have a good one for i8000, you can share here for the sake of topic. I'm not sure if CGPS needs a satellite fix to display a proper icon, without red X? I've uploaded patched official versions of CGPS and CAnalogClock here: Download link Date alingnment problem seen above, 2010 didn't fit, and famous red X in the settings Edited January 13, 2010 by asus535
Guest Omega Ra Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) I'm not sure if CGPS needs a satellite fix to display a proper icon, without red X? no CGPS doesn't have an icon there...it is displaying properly. However, if you download the patch CHome Editor, you should be able to manually add in an icon there. I have been meaning to try it but haven't gotten around to it as of yet. Guest dgmorland Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I wanted to change a couple of things about the way that Titanium Weather displayed information so I modified the TitaniumWeather.mscr script (original script was one I found in this thread). I am posting my updated version here in case it is of use to anyone else. The changes are: 1) The condensed panel normally shows the current conditions in the format "23 Partly Sunny". I wanted it to display all in lower case to match the formatting of the other condensed panels. It now displays as "23 partly sunny". 2) On each of the forecast days it was displaying the date in American mm/dd format eg "Thursday, 1/14/2010". I wanted the date in my local format. It now displays the date as "Thursday, 14/1, 2010" To update, 1) Backup your \Program Files\TitaniumWeather\TitaniumWeather.mscr file! 2) Replace it with the attached version 3) Run a full update in Titanium Weather or disable then re-enable Windows Default as the Today plugin. Guest marmac Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Excellent. Everything here worked great. Thanks asus535. :D
Guest Snow02 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Hey guys. Correct me if I'm wrong. The whole Splugins vs. Titanium cpr issue is that when you install a plugin, it will show as activated but not show up on the Today screen, right? Just copy the the layout information from your titanium cpr to splugins cpr. Or, change your Chome registry information to Titanium wherever it says Splugins, and in case it reverts, just put Titanium Refresh (It's included with the WM7 theme, and I'm sure can be found elsewhere) in your windows start up folder. Problem solved and your phone will now use titanium cprs. Seems like a lot of hassle to do all the patching, etc. when there's easy workarounds. Just my two-cents though. Also, doesn't Splugins lack a landscape layout?
Guest c3p9 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Asus, first of all thanks for the GREAT work fixing Samsungs Titanium mess. Good news is we no longer need to struggle with changing PlugIns. Our great pal NEW FORCE just made a cab that turns all Samsung pluging on using the regular Titanium. This way we can benefit from Samsung apps and also all the extra Titanium plugins. Check it out here: New Force Titanium Fix Cab It works with kstan's and Khuanchai's ROMs. Not sure about other ROMs. You can also talk to New Force and maybe find a way to implement a ROM independent version. :D
Guest Overthecable Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 I just updated the ROM to JB1 on the O2 and it seems like the CComm is having problems. All the icons showing the Red circle and white X. It seems like mortscript having problems reading the files from the directory. Checked the path and filenames are correct. Not sure how to move on. In addition, when installing the ATcontacts, error message popping out indicating Default.plg does not exist. It is a ATPluginInstaller error message though. Hope someone can help. Thanks.
