dear all,

Thanks to your help on reporting bugs and provide suggestion.

Time goes by and you probably see some request was responded some might not but at least I think it's still getting better in each release and that would make us all happy!

About password, IF some of you went to mobiz board, you would probably see that over 95% of the user has an avatar of them attached on the webpage, that is the way mobiz going, the admin encourage all user to post there identity so everyone would know each other more.

Aside from he does not have a phone to test himself, there is another reason for a password.

There for if some of you already translate the rom page to some language you understand, you would probably know that to request for a password for a rom you need to follow up 3 rules.

1. POST a real picture of you in your avatar.

2. When received the password that person must send it to the next person request for it.

3. After flash the rom, please provide feedback on the Board.

The purpose for these rules is to accelerate the activities of the i900 club forum and it works flawlessly, board member communicate more and help each other more.

BUT these rule is not for other user outside the mobiz system (well, except fattmatt which already has his avatar and can request the password directly following the rules and dadme who already register for a member but no avatar yet and maybe other modaco user who attend there)

So I reduce the rule no. 1+2 to only request from some specific user which are me and Naruto (since he is the thread owner) which I think it's fair enough since I and Naruto always online during our week day (I'm in Thailand Asia GMT+7 and Naruto is in Europe) which for both of us you have 24 hours service (well, except that one of us off some where).

and rule 3 still remains which I think modaco user provide great respond to the ROM both suggestion and bugs report and it surely encourage the cooker to continue his work.

Therefore, we can not treat other user better than our own,

if there is no password for a rom, you will receive it with no password as same as mobiz user.

if there is a password for a rom, you will need to request it as same as mobiz user.

everything is fair and square and I'm sure most of the user here already understand our intention and I never turn even single request for a password down even they call me wrong, type bad English, bad wording etc. as long as I understand your needs I will respond (I'm sure it goes the same as Naruto as well).

So I hope everyone could understand us and I'm not accusing anyone, I think most of the user here is nice and very corporate.

Thank you.

PS for last two rom, the reason it does not has the password is because he does not have time to reply to all PM request for a password since most of the mobiz staff is on holiday~~~~~~~~~ (you would probably know that if you translate the V.52 thread ^^)

V49 vs V50

just installed V49 which is the same build as V52 and it does respond like it; imho V49 > V50 as far as how smooth it is. V49 definitely a thumbs up and a 10+ rating. This is just my initial preview and will get back if any major bugs are found, which I doubt.

Sorry for spamming the board :)

Testing V52 M2D2 ROM since yseterday and very satisfied with it. Here are my findings about the ROM.

1. Initial boot up screens and tone are same used in Mr. Dhee's other ROM, which I think are not very good. He should try to improve it and give it a professional look.

2. Initial setup was easy compared to V47, which took more than 10 times for allignment of the screen. Here after only two allignment screens, I was able to move to next step.

3. Touch response is excellent as has been his trade mark. He cooks FtouchSLDL.dll in all of his ROMs. To verify it check the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH with DownUp value of (150) and Click value of (2000). The best thing about his touch response is that it is good in almost all programs and menues.

4. WiFi was connected on first try and is working perfectly. There was an issue with it in V47.

5. GPS also worked fine and it took Garmin 40-50 seconds to sync to satellite signal. This was slow compared to OCK Rom that I tried before and which had 15-20 seconds sync time.

6. Over all ROM performance is very good. Currently after loading 15 applilcatiion, the ROM is still working perfectly. Hardly one or two hangups and no sleep bug etc.

7. Tested with SKtools benchmark three times and the score varied from 299 to 305 which is excellent :) .

8. Battery life is also very impressive considering that it is a M2D2 ROM which traditionlly has high power consumption.

9. The only minor issue in this ROM and also in V47 is related to Easy Today Launcher screen (I think this is nothing to do with ROM build itself). Whenever the ROM is reset, Easy Today Launcher screen does not show up on 1st panel. Scroll to some other panel like people or weather and come back to first panel and Easy Today screen with icons is visible. Some times when I run some program and close it, easy launcher screen vanishes and is not visitbe unless device is reset B) .

10. Those on V47 may or may not opt to flash this ROM as I can't find much difference between it and V47. The only difference is the build.

Overall it is an excellent ROM for M2D2 lovers.

Anyone tried installing "touch response" for sensitivity?

Anyone know the registry tweak maybe?

There's nothing else I could recommend. Mine works flawlessly!

If some one have complaints about Touch Response on this ROM, I will adivise them to make a hard reset and then check ROM sensitivity. It is one of the best.

Thanks vince. It was very much needed.

not a problem. however, my M2dtp disappear from the home panel after I installed M2DC and alter the tabs. I cant get the M2dtp to work. If you know how M2dtp work and fix this problem would be appreviated.

v52 with M2D is best so far. last ROM was 28005 and opted v52 as i like M2D UI + plenty of storage.

The answer of your problem is on the link provided by you. You can find M2dtp file in the first post of that link.

Comparing V37, V49 and V52:

I had tried v52 since last night, Traversing tabs under M2D is slow. I tried to enable/disable some tabs with M2D customization app, the M2D GUI just disappeared.. hard reset was the only option. Touch response is great. Updating weather from M2d Home Screen didnt work, but worked in weather tab.

V49: I had just flashed and configured all my apps via XDA_UC and the fatal sleep bug occured.. there ended the story of V49.

I have gone back to V37.. 28014: for me the best stable version at the moment. Dhees and Nick's 28014 roms are the stablest roms around the corner at present.

I've been trying Dheewatara's roms for about two months now and have seen steady improvement in builds vis a vis speed and stability. I actually like the buggy hero point ui rom the best because it runs so fast. Still it is very limited in its abilities, perhaps the new "infinity" from Ageye will be something for the future. It's in alpha and looks slick.

I couldn't disagree with you more about v47 which i am still using though. First of all screen alignment? I've never had to do more than one screen alignment with any of Dheewatara's roms. Perhaps it's your hardware that is the problem. (others have had similar problems, check the forums)

Wifi is no problem at all, again, actually better than on some of his other roms where wifi would not connect or disconnect (still very rare).

Battery life is great even though the indicator is not, i.e. jumping by twenty percent each time. Again, nothing to do with the rom though.

I also have never had the issue of the easy today launcher. It is amazing to see how the same hardware causes so many different glitches. Ghost in the machine.

My biggest issue was actually with the amount of memory free with a clean install. This does not appear to be a problem though on build 52.  Getting a bit tired of flashing though and will probably stay with v47 for some time.

Hi there,

I am using Dheew V28 23614 which a bit outdated but I am very pleased with it.

I have few questions though for newer versions

- Do you, guys, have any problem with the camera resolution? It's stange to have terrible photos with 5MP CAM?!

I am not sure if it is my cam, the rom, or wm6.5. I am sure the photos are horrible especially at night. It is completely useless!

- The call button is not responding when recieving a call and I have to slide the green answer onscreen button to answer. I didn't read a comment about it but is anyone experience that?

- When talking in the phone my voice is echoing and unclear as I was told by people on the phone (default setting). When increasing volume, sound gets a little better but it gets very loud and hurts my ear. Speakers does no better also. I tried to use audiogain but I have no clue to use it. I hope to see your feedback on this.

and happy new year to everyone

Has anyone tried V51? I'm currently using V46 and I'm quite happy with it but I do like the look of V51...

Also is there any way to save apps/settings, etc. to load up on a new ROM as I find it to be a lot of work everytime.

Thanks

Do you have to reinstall every single app everytime?

v51 has a very nice gui and it is very fast.

I don't like marketplace, msn weather, money, live and some other useless stuff in the rom

I prefer v50, much clean

Can we get a cleaner rom in next build like build v50?

Thanks

still using V49 - 23620 Lite and very happy with it, not one crash or sleep bug yet

I couldn't download Xtra Data for GPS but found a fix: the default server does not work or maybe it's down at this time; in order to change it go to:

HKLM\ Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS

and look for server address and change it from test.agps.com:7275 to xtra1.gpsonextra.net:80

soft reset
