Guest Daekin Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 the bug with start button remaining pressend after starting showcase is known for all ROMs. you can avoid it by pressing button for 2seconds and then quickly release it BEFORE Shocase window appear ;) BUG REPORT for V41: SPB keyboard settings cannot be started. when started from input options the screen freezes and when started from fulscreen menu of SPB keyboard it returns to the home screen. (going back to V37 for now....)

Guest NarutoDKz Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Hi, On V41 it's impossible to setup activesync... it's doesn't save setting. I must say that I find it quite hard to use activesync with all of his roms.
Guest Michelle My Belle Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) Hi, On V41 it's impossible to setup activesync... it's doesn't save setting. I'm running with v41 also - I'm using activesync (Windows XP) with no problems at all. Outlook e-mail. Contacts. Calendar entries. Tasks Are all synchronising with ActiveSync... Edit: Just a thought, you are making sure you are unsetting the USB to PC connection "Enable advanced network functionality" check box ?? It's necessary to do this with XP. Guest Michelle My Belle Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 V41 is good and fast touch response. the only BUG i found is that the Office Mobile, that there is no menu, totally blank, also when using Inesoft phone favorites, first i call MR A., then next i'll MR B., it shows the name MR A instead MR B. thanks. V41: I'm only seeing one issue with Office Mobile. For me only Excel Mobile is not doing anything everything else (word, PowerPoint and OneNote) appear to be working correctly. Anyone else seeing this? MMB
Guest hellokittyr Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 V41, the only bug/issue that i have found is the message center(Text Msg) it's really slow and might cause the the phone to freeze.
Guest powell21 Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 went good on v37 everythings smooth the only issues i had with v38 was the installation part/ after hard reset it takes so many mins to to have 2nd boot then i got irritated with the screen alignment.... but aside from that everything's running ok w/ v38... thanks mr dhee for the roms thanks to narutodbz and susunt :)
Guest kanikamus Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Hello I've installed the v41 rom, works fine, but the sensitivity of the screen is damaged, I hit hard even though the sensitivity changed by Favorite Hacking, I think 28,014 is the best of all. SPB Shell 3.5 works well without problems. Merry Christmas
Guest Last Hegemon Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) Hi susunt, Here's the idea I have for an ultra-lite ROM based on 28014 ( V37). Delete/remove: - Internet Explorer and Opera; let user install whatever they want, but if he must use one, then Opera beta 2u (released today) - Office Mobile (nobody really uses Word or Excel on their phone, but if they want they can always install them) - MSN Money (user can buy SPB Finance, Adarian Money or Inesoft Cash) - MSN Weather (there are better alternatives out there such as SPB, etc.) - Marketplace - Media Album - TV Out Viewer - Windows Live & Messenger (user can install Palringo or Fring) - Microsoft My Phone - FM Radio - Calendar (if possible) - Search Widget Keep/add: - only one keyboard (leave the Keyboard selector in case user installs multiple keyboards) - the mini-taskbar from V40 is great! don't know if he can take and use it but it's really good because it doesn't take the whole screen. Would it be possible to assign the mini-taskbar to a button? Currently I have Task Manager assigned to a button but it's not as good as the mini-task manager Pls let us know what the guys at Mobiz say about this. Thanks. Delete/remove: - Internet Explorer and Opera; let user install whatever they want, but if he must use one, then Opera beta 2 - Office Mobile (nobody really uses Word or Excel on their phone, but if they want they can always install them) - MSN Money (user can buy SPB Finance, Adarian Money or Inesoft Cash) - MSN Weather (there are better alternatives out there such as SPB, etc.) - Marketplace - Media Album - TV Out Viewer - Windows Live & Messenger (user can install Palringo or Fring) - Microsoft My Phone - FM Radio - Calendar (if possible) - Search Widget Keep/add: - only one keyboard (leave the Keyboard selector in case user installs multiple keyboards) - the mini-taskbar from V40 is great! don't know if he can take and use it but it's really good because it doesn't take the whole screen. In a good side battery is more stable Speed and touch respond good as in the other builds. overall good ROM SPB keyboard doesn't support wm 6.5, that is a known issue. It has nothing to do with version 41. t it's the same for any 6.5 rom. Input options doesn't work so you can't change the skin. Still you can use the keyboard though

Guest Last Hegemon Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) Well I did say Ultra-Lite....keeping those extra applications would mean semi-lite which we already have; so if you guys want to improve or change the way Dhee makes the semi-lite ROMs you can always suggest that, but I'm looking for an Ultra (bare minimum) ROM in which I and other users can install whatever apps we deem necessary and have the available space/memory to do so. - TV Out Viewer (never watched videos from my Omnia on the TV, hell I don't even have the cable to use this feature) - FM Radio (you cannot listen to this unless you plug in the antenna and radio programs suck, you have Pandora, Sirius XM and better alternatives) - Calendar (worst calendar ever, prefer Thumbcal, SPB Mobile Shell....anything except that ugly winmo calendar please) - Media Album (Nitrogen, CorePlayer, DivX, Kinoma, Resco Pocket Radio, etc....etc.) - Office Mobile. (that is fine, but again for many people who don't use Office this is a waste of space...if you like to do your VLookups and Indexations on your mobile, more power to you, but I leave that to the laptop and computer) Again, I don't want to start a pissing contest, just asking for an ultra-lite so we can have the freedom and space to install better applications or not install at all if we don't use some of them. It is impossible to please thousands of users, but a common denominator would be a Super-lite ROM. P.S. just a heads up, a new version of Opera Mobile is out Beta 2u which replaced Beta 2 Edited December 23, 2009 by Last Hegemon
