Forgot to ask about the sound quality on the headphones...has anyone compared the sound quality of playing music with iphone?

I am a iphone user at the moment...really want to move to android...just hope these basic functions are good on the android phone too!

Cheeeers!

I'm no audiophile but with a decent set of headphones (who uses stock headphones?) it sounds fine to me.

Also playing music through the speaker is quite loud too.

You probably want an opinion from someone with a better "ear" for music though.

I am using Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset with my Liquid, SBH650, very deep bass & excellent music control. Volume is very loud also, no distorsion at all. Same thing with my KOSS Portapro II 3.5mm jack, although I prefer using SBH650 because it is in-ears. Only a matter of preferences. Default headset do not have enough bass at all, to my opinion. Quite surprisingly, Voice quality/Speaker with default headset is very good.

I don't know sh*t about iPhone, but on Android, no equalizer available for the moment, not on Acer Liquid, not even 3rd app, as far as I know. I've been looking everywhere to have some manual settings on bass, trebbles, Winamp-style. But no luck so far.

Forgot to mention I am no expert, even if I own some pretty amazing AKG & Sennheiser models ;)

Thanks for the speedy reply!

I normally use good quality earphones which cost above £100...that's why I am quite keen on the music reproduction.

I've tried HTC HERO which is a bit disapointing...it lacks the clarity of iphone or ipod produces...really hope I can find a good replacemnet of iphone.

Well, if you're an audiophile and moving from the iPhone (like me), you may be surprised at the lack of a lossless codec on Android... I posted about this in another thread.

In regards to the stock headphones, they don't fit very nicely into your ears and let lots of background noise in... you'll probably want better ones.
