Thanks Dan I don't know of any official method for backing up, which is quite bizzare since when you upgrade it tells you to backup first! Options are 1. Use the unoffocial method of using the RA recovery image 2. Maybe use the acp tool which comes with pc suite do to an acp "/" to somewhere 3. Individually copy settings using acp or adb 4. Maybe there is a tool on the market for backup/restore?

With the recovery image do i need to flash it or root it ? thanks DAn
