Generic USB wall charging issues

When I first got my device i wasn't able to charge it becouse I was rushing to open the package on the drive home. So I plugged my o2 to my FreeLoader (the thing that charges thru solar panels) and the battery icon on the taskbar changed to the charge icon.

2 months after this miracle, with my new unoffical 6.5 ROM, at school,

I tried to juice my o2 again. guess what? it didn't charge. The device understands that its connected to some kinda power source (I'm sure you have realised that before ;) ) but the carge LED in the freeloader doesn't lits up, which used to do 2months ago.

The charger has no problems, its been tried with the s8003 Jet.

My conclusion is that the samsung branded charging thing is somehow connected with not only hardware but the software also.

-gonna make more research.

PS. sorry for the crappy quality. the phone in the picture is Samsung S8003 Jet. what used to happen here did happened to my o2 too.
