Guest wookash.p Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) Hi guys! I've had the same problem. None of the solutions found in the web helped me, but I think I've found a way. Please note, that none of the below helped me when used seperately. Only using ALL of them and in this exact order made the annoying "Message Sent" notification stop. 1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\MMS\settings - SMSForegegroundSend value has to be 0. 2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings - SMSNoSentMsg value has to be 0. 3. Use freeware PPC Configurator and disable sms sent notification. 4. Use freeware Advanced Configuration Tool and also disable sms sent notification. It seems like PPC Configurator does most of the work, but the rest is also necessary. I have had no notifications since, and reversing any of these changes brings the notifications back. Hope this helps. Cheers. Edited December 20, 2009 by wookash.p
Guest matthework Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 i found the reg edit above only work in WM original sms app. dont konw why...notifcations still show up in samsung sms-mms app after reg edit...lol~~~
Guest serverxeon Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 so wookash's solution does not work for samsung sms app?
Guest ajhvdb Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Disable Notification Sound Go To: HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Inbox > MsgTypes > IPM > SMSText Change: DLL Value to htmlnote.dll Then: Soft reset. Original DLL Value is mms.dll This DOES work, but this changes your SMS editor too. The mms.dll is the bad one.
Guest touchflo Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 you said HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\SMSNoSentMsg = 1 but its actually HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMsg = 1 maybe thats your problem???
