Guest Ceed19 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Is there a way to reset the touch player or erase its data files. I have started to experience the updating freeze issue and my touch player will no longer work or update. Does anyone know where the files are or which files it creates to save its playlists and library list?

If you mean delete TouchPlayer database (where information about all music/video files is stored), delete a file twmp_lib.edb which is in \Application Data folder. It will be recreated when you search for new music files in TouchPlayer. All art image files that are created by TouchPlayer are stored in MyStorage\Program Files\TouchPlayerImage\ directory.

Guest Ceed19 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 anyone have a cab file of the touch player off the I920?
Guest Uboy Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 you could try making a full back up with SPB Backup, save it to your storage card, not My Storage, back up your My Storage as well, then hard reset, copy all the touch player files to your storage card. Restore from the spb backup file and when complete replace the touch player files you copied back to their correct locations. That way you should have your device as it is now but with the touch player restored to it's original state, I think ;) at any rate you have the back up file. I suggested that you back up your my storage because when I hard reset my phone I was gutted to find my storage nicely re-formatted, and that is where I'd placed my backup file. ;)
