Taskbar icon hackers -- how to determine which icon in dll?

Guys, any easy way to figure out which specific icon in a DLL the system is using for a taskbar indicator, like the 3G indicator?

Here's the problem: I installed an icon makeover supposedly for WM6.5 on my i920. Some of the icons changed, some others not. Using a resource/icon editor, I want to correct this by shuffling them around as needed.

Problem is, there are multiple copies at different resource IDs of the 1-bit b/w icons I don't want, so I don't which one to replace. Further, I can't even see what some of these are because of they are being displayed on a which background in the browser, but that's a tool problem I've got to figure out some way to workaroud (and suggestions here as to a better tool would be nice -- I'm using IcoFX).
