yea macs don't recognize WinMo phones ... what are you looking to do? if it's just to sync outlook data (contacts/email/calendar) I've found that gmail syncs well for these things via activesync. if you want more of a backup of your data including text messages and photos Microsoft's MyPhone app does a good job and it's all OTA so you don't need the cable ;).

otherwise, the only program I've found to connect my WinMo phones (with the cable) to my MBP is the MissingSync but it's not free - costs about $40.

You can connect via USB to move things on and off the memory card or storage or use Bluetooth for file exchange.

You can also tether with your Mac with no additional software needed (no VZAcessManager).

As far as sync ruthe is correct, as far as know you would need The Missing Sync.

Have you been able to do this? I ask because my MBP won't recognize the O2 at all when I plug it in via USB. It doesn't even detect it as a drive when I change the connection settings to mass storage. I was able to get my old Epix recognized as a modem for tethering but no such luck yet with the O2 so any tips would be appreciated.
