Guest jacobgong Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 I think I broke it trying to add asain language support.... it doesn't show the orange screen anymore, just shuts down before that. is flashing ROM my only option? I am still having problems with doing it as well, it doesn't get recognized as anything so I can't even "update the MIT driver".
Guest Tylwith Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 did you try to hard reset ? off the phone then hold volume up+ lock button + green button + red button
Guest jacobgong Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) did you try to hard reset ? off the phone then hold volume up+ lock button + green button + red button I just tried it but i think it didn't do anything different than a normal boot, which fails. oh wait, I tried again several times and it seems to have worked, hope it doesn't wipe the storage. tyvm so does it mean it has a full recovery system built-in, like brand name PCs? does it mean I can flash it as much as I want and still be able to recover? By right, you can flash your PDA part as many times as you want, provided if you do not touch the phone and eboot part, plus there is no disruption during your flashing of the PDA part. I am not sure whether there is a full recovery system built-in, however hard reset would delete all the stuff you have added to the main memory. Hopes this help :) Merry Christmas
