Guest Steel Reign Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 If anyone could be kind enough to upload the lockscreen.dll from the /windows folder I would love it. I replaced mine and apparently the backup that I made is gone :). The i8000 one is different from the i920 one and I prefer the lockscreen on the i920 as it has sms and other stuff.

I've tried with Resco Explorer, but it won't let me uncheck it as a rom file so when I goto delete it, it won't let me :).

I've tried with Resco Explorer, but it won't let me uncheck it as a rom file so when I goto delete it, it won't let me :) . if you have overwritten it you should be able to change the property of the file using resco explorer just untick rom file, hidden file and try to delete it again you have to untick until the case is empty normally should be black then grey then blank in the option disabling the lockscreen and rebooting the phone can help also Edited December 22, 2009 by Tylwith

Edit: decided to just do a hard reset. ok try that install the folowing cab reboot unistall the cab reboot it's just a fake dll but when you uninstall it it will put back the rom versionempty_lockscreen_dll.cab Edited December 22, 2009 by Tylwith

Now delete away the renamed file.
