Guest dzynio Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 maybe someone know how to set opera 10 in titanium favorites instead the default opera v. 9xx ? :)
Guest peter_pg Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Me too... autorotation does not works... Any suggestion?
Guest Calan Boo Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Much more stable than the previous beta and a lot faster than old Opera. Hard to believe its even the same product line. I had to use OrientationDetection to get autorotation to work. Only had one hangup so far, and had to remove the battery to get going again as usual.

If i have 70 mb of ram available and i open fm radio + opera 10 with 2 tabs. if i minimize opera it will autoclose. if i check teh amount of ram im down to 20 mb. so opera is using about 45mb! but it is fast

Guest Oscar9 Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Do you kno how to uninstall Opera9? i erased whole folder from main storage..but still appear on the main menu... working on that right now... I somehow effed up Opera 9 using SKtools a few days ago. After that I checked online and found the new Opera 10 beta... Love it so far, but it is kinda a pain having Opera 9 sitting in my main memory taking up space. I recently used Resco regedit and checked in HKLM/software/opera9... It appears as though there is a way to change some reg settings around so that you can uninstall it completely. I'm not good enough at registry editing to figure this out on my own, but maybe someone else here is. There is a binary value in the Opera 9 HKLM reg file that says ROM. Not sure what the rest of the string says because I'm using WMwifirouter right now to type this message (I'm on vacation in Hawaii and theres NO INTERNET!!) I know in the past these things have always been built into the rom making it near impossible to take them out. However, maybe there is a way in VZ's WM6.5 rom. If anyone wants to give it a stab, I would greatly appreciate it :) PS. OmniaMaster if you just want to make it appear that Opera9 isn't cooked into your phones memory (or appear on the main menu), just go into a registry editing program and find out where that link is located and change the value from 1 to 0. That should do it, don't forget to back up first!

Guest 1ns4nity Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 This version crashes on my O2 so frequently :)
Guest Chris1990 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 fantastic is any one getting a bad gateway everytime the go to a webpage. after a refresh it goes to the webpage but not the first time any ideas?
Guest zm. Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 my comments on this beta 2U is that (mostly negative): 1) Eats a lot of RAM still. 2) INPUT LAG (especially on WM6.5.3) 3) pages renders very slow 4) it loads faster because it runs a preloaded process in the background.
Guest Oscar9 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 free up ram by replacing old Opera9.exe (built into rom) with a dummy file... http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...ry-on-omnia-ii/ Opera10 beta 2u is better imo, and unless your going to flash a rom might as well free up some of that memory. not sure when but Opera is eventually going to integrate Adobe Flash 10.1 :)
Guest peter_pg Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I cannot select landscape mode anyway.... After I've installed Opera 10beta I had thad option in he optione menĂ¹... Any idea?
Guest surgex Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) How to watch flash video on the page? like youtube? Opera 10 does not support plugins yet. Flash lite is a plugin. The final version will support full flash (Hopefully). Anyone having a problem with bookmark syncing using Opera Link? My speed dial syncs fine but bookmarks do not... Or perhaps does anyone know of a solution that can just sync my bookmarks across all browsers? I use opera, and ie on my PC, and ie, skyfire, opera 9 and opera 10 on pda..lol... Activesync works for IE bookmarks...but nothing else :| Edited January 3, 2010 by surgex
Guest dgmorland Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 I installed this but the autorotation didn't work. I found that the way to make this work was to change a registry value. Under HKLM\Software\Autorotation there appear to be string values defined for programs for which autorotation should be enabled. I found a value that was obviously something I didn't have (Nachtrichten) and edited it to be "Opera Mobile 10" (without the quote marks) and then did a soft-reset. Now when I run Opera the autorotate works properly. I am running a custom ROM (from Sonblack) so your registry entries may not be the same as mine.
Guest charly_mx Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Thanks for adding it man, i just installed 2 o 3 days ago and i think its very nice. :)
Guest pda-world Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Hi, I am waiting for delivery on the TG01 from orange today was wondering whether Opera and Skyfire allow the double tap auto zoom feature to view sections on the page. Also does Opera 10 work with BBC iPlayer. Also when the page loads in either Opera or Skyfire is the whole page dispalyed shrunk to fit the page or is a zoomed in version of a section of the page displayed. Thanks for you time. Regards J
