I not too sure whether is this normal ..

Using J9 Firmware. With GPRS on all the time. My battery drop down from 100% to 50% within 5 hour..

i wonder it is a battery issue?

should be quite normal, with gprs on.when i'm using gprs for 1hr straight, it drops roughly 7 - 10%

looks like i'm not alone... i have similar issue as you... ltr found out that it's some software i installed that's causing the battery drain...but even now..my batt can onli last abt 16 odd hours.. :)

all winmo devices are battery eater when using data connections :)

Are you refering to actual data usage or ust the fact you have GPRS enabled?

It is only when physically using the GPRS connection for data transfer that battery usage goes up.

Weak signal can also cause excessive battery drain.

I would check to see what you have installed and if any application is hiding in the background.

actually, to improve battery life, you could use an application created by ChainFire.Its called the WMlonglife,try searching for it on xda forum.

disable GPRS for a day.. my batt decrease by 10% only.. so it is the gprs usage causing the battery drain.

I've experimented the same with IL2, ans IJ9, when I activated 3G or 3.5G batteri longs about a day and a few...
