How to remove operator widget

My operator ROM puts its own widget on the homescreen and doesnot let me remove it.

Is there a way (registry or config file) to remove it?

What operator do you have? I know Verizon did the same thing, but it is actually dragable like any other widget. You may want to try pressing kinda firmly to active the drag feature.

I have flashed another ROM.

the problem is I will sell my phone and I would like to remove the widget from TIM because I am selling as a unlocked phone and person who will buy is from VIVO and the phone is unlocked for any operator

You can use with other operator even with the widget on the screen.
