Any improvements on the noise level which is really high and annoying, maybe better audio quality if it's possible?

I would doubt it, I think it's a hardware problem. If it bothers you (as it did me) I found the best way to deal with it was to use a set of earphones with a volume control on the cable. The problem is the signal to noise ratio, if you turn the volume up it will drown out the noise. So turn the headphone volume control right down and you'll have to turn the phone up to compensate, meaning you'll get a cleaner sound.

I've got some Sennheiser CX500's which are good for this purpose.
