Widgets download

Whenever I go to see if there are any new widgets available I now get nothing.....has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah I get the same thing. The only method I know of to get widgets/apps is by the Marketplace (very limited selection) or looking up the widget/app online and downloading the .cab file to copy onto your phone.

i can't find any site where i can download the cab files for the widgets....

so where could i get the cabs?

On the widgetplus sidebar there is an icon titled 'widgets'....this is what I used to download 'more widgets'....but, unfortunately, it no longer appears to be working

I did a hard reset and I still get the same 'no search results' when trying to search for new widgets....so the problem must be Samsung server end!

perhaps there actually really no 'new' widgets available, have you looked onto other categories?

Hi,

I have the same problem.

I've been told that my phone's firmware (orange Poland) prevents from downloading widgets.

When I asked why, they could not tell me anything.

I've flashed my phone using octans mini 2.11, but only ctc and mts files.

So to fully get rid of branded firmware I must do it completely.

Then everything will work properly.

It's gotta be a server problem on their side.

I'm not getting any widgets in any of the categories, and this started just a couple of days ago.

Seeing how there's more people with the same problem today, I can't be anything else I guess.

It might just be happening in some countries though. I'm in Spain at the moment.

we can download widget from widget.samsungmobile.com , but it require a password, anybody know how to register to this??
