Guest steviem Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 I did a quick search of "spica root" on twitter, and found this: http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html No idea if it'll work, looks kind of hopeful, but you need to trust the site. http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html If you do, could you find a way of getting the xvid/divx support onto other android phones? :)
Guest finalmoksha Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I did a quick search of "spica root" on twitter, and found this: http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html No idea if it'll work, looks kind of hopeful, but you need to trust the site. http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html If you do, could you find a way of getting the xvid/divx support onto other android phones? :D I have rooted my spica using the instructions on this forum and updated the firmware to the latest from Samsung. I have been trying to find an EN custom ROM but have not found any yet. But even the rooting is a good start as I am now able to use SetCpu and MarketEnabler. One thing though, nstall the latest New PC Suite from Samsung as the drivers provided on the forum do not work with all spica firmwares. Cheers
Guest NJ31 Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 Hi finalmoksha ! If you mean updating your i5700 to Android 2.1 I can help you. Mine is already in 2.1 for 2 weeks now. I can create a post about it if you want.

Do you have or had similar problems of syncing your spica to the pc? Regards Murugesh
Guest vinokirk Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Cant you just use the universal aroid root program?
Guest DanWilson Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Modaco has very little support for the Spica I think, Google SamDroid. It has 2.1 ROMS, and I think Cyanogen 6... Unlike us.
