hi guys. just bought a nokia n95 tv out cable for my omnia 2 and video playback on tv is great - that is if the videos are under 720x480 resolution.

i am having a bit of a problem though for videos with 720x480 resoution. when i play them on tv, there are scenes where the audio does not sync with the video perfectly - it can be clearly seen that the audio tries to catch up with the video for a second or two.

i am currently using Total Video Converter for my videos with the following settings: MP4 720x480@ 1500kbps, 30fps with 128kbits/s audio.

thanks in advance.

p.s. - i put my phone's performance to high when i use it with the tv out but the same problem still exists.

I use AVSVideo

MPEG-4

720x432

Original Framerate

Bitrate of 2500

Audio is MP3

Stereo 16 bit

44100 Sample rate

and 128 kbps

hope they work for you

I also have that problem, the video plays perfect when viewed on the phone alone, but once connected to video out, it seems everything slows down and the skipped frames and sound/video syncronisation problems happen. Once disconnected the video out, then speed is back to normal again.

I am on wm6.1 H9 rom, does the newer room improve on video out?

BTW, there's no need for any specific N95 video cables, just buy any cheap video out cable for videocam with the 4 way 3.5mm plug, it'll work although some outputs are swapped ..... I bought one and the video out and left audio is swapped, but otherwise it worked perfectly.

i'm currently on the official samsung wm6.5 rom (philippine version) and i still experience the skipped frames. maybe it has something to do with the phone hardware?

i hope this gets fixed in the next firmware somehow :)
