Am I being silly or does MMS not work, the only options in the "share" command are picasa, gmail and facebook.

confirmer, when sharing, no mms option offered

I use Handcent SMS which is free on market and available via share options so no big deal for me

Tried this rom out tonight, did a full wipe and then a Titanium Backup, but every application I try to open gives me the error 'Sorry! The application (process com.android.etc) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close.'

This is the first 2.1 rom I've tried, and the first Ti Backup I've tried too, so not sure if it's specific to this rom, or Ti, or just me, but any advice would be much appreciated. Gonna try a couple of other roms too, see how many more errors I can generate, lol! :)

Think it was me, the Ti Backup didn't seem to work properly, tried again with a different rom, and it works fine.

it v is 1.5 if u check in phone property!!!

On another note, 2.2 will be released soon. Some big improvements, and it'll stop people thinking this is a 2.1 ROM! :D I've been working on the VanillaDroid ROM recently.

Unfortunately, Vanilla Android 1.5 doesn't support auto-brightness. It was an HTC functionality.

Ok, no problem with auto brightness.

But it seems to be some kind of bug: I manualy set the minimum brightness in menu, but after sleep-wakeup it is always set back to "medium" (or some kind of default).

ya, i noticed that to, can't set the brightness to min. if a setting panel is open it goes to min, but as soon as i close it goes back up to high or above avg setting, draining my battery bcos of it.

This looks very promising, i LOVE speed and everybody praises it so i'll have to try when i get home later! We'll se how i manage without Sense (running mcr 3.2b5 now)

You're doing a great job! Tried you rom last night it was indeed blazing fast, wow! Will you be doing a verion of android 2.1 as well when HTC releases it (2015 if we're lucky :))?

But what we have is very good already for an every day's use

Handcent is a very good alternetive and I can live a few FCs on native sms/mms app :-)

something really strange happened to me today with this rom

I called a friend and when hangedUp, the phoneApp ForceClosed

Since then, no way to dial or receive any call

Even after rebooting

Trying to wipe and reflash

Was working fine with a few FCs on native MMS 'til then :)
