How to extract files from part02.raw

Guys, I've spent close to an hour searching, reading through the kitchen docs (not a cook yet, but will be after Verizon's first update for the 920), and have not found a simple explanation to do what I want to do.

Simply this: I have a raw partition from my 920 (part02.raw) that I extracted from the phone for the experts way back when Swype was causing all the excitement, and then the phoneGods extracted Swype and other necessary files to make it available for you i8000 guys.

We all know where that went :)

Anyway, I want to extract \windows\shellres.192.dll from that partition (can't access the file on the device even though I can see it -- access is denied from Resco Explorer) so I cn monkey around with customizing some icons.

How do I do that? I'm guessing it's a real simple one-step process with some kitchen tool, but I can't find it explained anywhere.
