Guest powser Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 Does anyone know how to fix the dialer? I think it has something to do with SecDialerRes.dll, but replacing this file form Sonblack's rom onto my own personal rom causes the dialer to not function at all.. Can anyone help here...? Yes I've also tried deleting the respective mui files already..
Guest zm. Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 (edited) actually the problem comes from OS and not the dialer. there's a position problem in the powercalc too and many dictionary software. i have asked sonblack and he says it relates to many OS files. if you go into the testmode *#0*# and try the touch test, you will realized the bottom of the screen is slightly off and the top of the screen has a few missing pixels. (this was mentioned by someone before) Edited January 1, 2010 by zm.
Guest powser Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 Yes i know it's an OS thing. I'm specifically asking if any body knows how to modify sec dialer to work. As far as I know e0natives doesn't work for the dialer.

Guest zm. Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 I found this same problem on i900 also in this thread http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...aler-on-wm-6-5/ and the problem is related to cprog.exe. so I guess someone needs to modify that file to fix the scroll bar in samsung dialer problem on wm6.5.x.
Guest bluhound Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Use Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 and disable vertical scrollbar. Soft reset. Works for me. You won't see the vertical scrollbar anymore in any app but its not that important anyway.
