Compass on Google Maps

Hi ,

HTC HD 2 compass is recognised in Google Maps , and it works with the software.

is there any registry hack , or a program we can install to get the O2 compass working in Google Maps ???

We already have the HTC support maybe someone can pull the program from the Leo's rom and make a cab for us

Best would be native support in Google Maps, if not, compatibility layer to HTC is a workaround...
