Problem updating to new rom version

Hello, new to the forum and the phone but i tried to update and this is what happens: I plug phone in, click continue, click continue again for it to restart. When my phone restarts...nothing happens. It just starts back up normally and doesnt update. Any ideas?

Did you review carefully the "How to flash " at the top of this forum.

It may relate to your issue....

i read the "start here before..etc" but didnt see any fix in there but theres like 20 pages or something.

Ok maybe I misunderstood ( most likely)

What do you mean by update??

What are trying to accomplish?

If your Flashing to a new rom which one and how are you doing it?

I'm trying to update the rom to cf03 so i can flash to another rom. did i misunderstand something perhaps?

if you just got the phone it may already have cf03 . all the newer i910 have it on it check it out...

I did check, its my mother's old phone, just gave it to me cuz my old one died. verion is bj28.2027 or sumtin like that

did you go..

start,settings,system,about// should say 2nd line down cc20 or cf03

You may already be flashed to a newer rom . can you get a better read on the build # in the about section

i just did a hard reset like 2 days ago...but the build is 20276.1.3.3

I just did a quick search on some other sites. they all refer to 20276 but on the Omnia I900...

You diffidently have a i910???

WOW beat this horse to death... B)

I belive your all set to flash to any of the i910 rom's in the i910 forum.

just down load the UDML program and follow the steps in the flashing section..

the rom CF03 you will find in start/settings/system/version. the one in about is the windows mobile rom version and not the phone rom. you will see something like: ROM Version S:i910 V.CF03.2096 (in version) which is where you'll find the CF03 or CC20 as shown on the example.
