right guys i just read through pretty much all of this thread and am amazed, i didnt realise i could change the look of it all lol i assumed that was only possible through ROM's.

as you've gathered im abit of a noob at this:)

so if u guys cud pls explain to me in a lil more detail with maybe a step by step guide on how to make mine look like yours.

so far ive installed pandahome and zeam, i prefer the look of zeam as pandahome looks too technical for me:D but i also love the widget and app 'looks' on your phones, ive got the bog standard ones and was wondering how to change them?

The home replacement is Home++ ... unfortunately not as stable as Zeam.

I like it because it removes the notification bar but with a slide along the bottom menu you can access the time etc plus you can press them as buttons to access alarm etc. Most of the bottom row have short and long press functionality plus its all modifiable in preferences as to what you show. And an inbuilt screenshot program which i used to take those pictures.

I have managed to get AnderWeb's AdvancedLauncher (from here: http://www.jbthemes.com/anderweb/adwlauncher.html) working with the vanilla 2.1 rom.

On a lot of these last screen shots the background picture seems to fit over just window rather than being spread over the whole canvas.What app are people using to put the background/wallpaper up?When I put the 2.1 rom on my phone,if I tried to use one of my pictures as a wallpaper it got spread out over all 9 windows of the canvas :)

Should I upload my ROM?

It's very fast, and stable but the mic does not work :)

Made one last change: Custom HTC style widgets for the weather widget toggles. ;) Screen shot later!

I've signed so many apks and zips today, it's scary!
