Android Scripting Environment

Does anybody have ASE (Android Scripting Environment) installed on their Pulse? I did have it originally when I was using the stock T-Mobile supplied ROM, but ever since I've started using MoDaCo ROMs, I cannot install it.

Use the barcode scanner to snap the QR Code. This links to the installable ".apk" file.

When I try to install it, I receive:

"ASE could not be installed onto this phone."

Any ideas?

I get the same.

I have installed it on the Custom Modaco 1.6 Rom and it seems to run but I have not done anything useful with it.
