Sms Inbox, name recognition

I had reset my phone and did not yet syncronize my mobile with exchange.

I did receive several sms messages. from: <number>

now I did syncronize (a week later) but the messages are still from: <number> instead of the correct name.

is there someway to let windows mobile reevaluate all the numbers and change them to the corresponding name ?
