Thanks for that. I think I'm going to do a factory reset before performing a backup...don't really need anything that I have on the phone at the moment.

Ok I did it and everything went quite smoothly :) Much faster than T-Mobile ROM....thanks Paul!

I want to be able to install apps on my SD card, I'm assuming apps2sd does this but I have read of loads of problems with this. Is it worth doing this?

if you installed a custom rom from here. apps2sd is installed for you and should work automatically.

you can check this by checkign your phone free memory, then downloading some apps and recheck.. if free memory has not changed(or a lot less then you downloaded bcos some userdata can still be installed not in you apps dir on the phone.) apps2sd works:)

Thanks for that the info.

Its definatly using phone memory. I didn't do anything but backup, wipe and install ROM. Don't know if there was a seperate partition step that I missed. If there are problems with the filesystem going corrupt for any reason then I'd rather just stick with the phone memory.

So far I have had 2 random reboots, once in settings menu and the other using Market. Had ROM for 3.5 days so far
