Bottom right of the today screen says "phone book", bringing up Samsung's slightly buggy contact application.

How can I replace this with "contacts" (the standard Microsoft app)?

Thanks

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\ change the "Open" string to the location of MS contacts.

I unfortunately don't know the location of the MS contacts, but I'm sure someone here can tell you.

Search for SOFT KEY cab. It's allowing to customize both links (left/right)

I would like to know how to do it too. Samsung's skins are horrible. It may be fingers-friendly, but I don't like any of the Omnia II Samsung skins. I wish the Omnia II has a WM 6.5 interface as HTC's; a plain WM interface

I think it's easier to flash a Lite ROM without samsung stuff.

Anyway to the above mentioned registry, you can try to add this:

"\Windows\poutlook.exe" contacts

OK, getting there!

I tried changing the key to:

\Windows\poutlook.exe (nothing happens when clicking)

"\Windows\poutlook.exe" contacts (nothing happens)

\Windows\poutlook.exe contacts (error message)

But now I have your info I'm doing some google searches and will post when I have the answer.

Try changing the Contents for <Open> to

\windows\start menu\programs\contacts.lnk

It worked on my i920.

Oh Yeah duh!! :)

I totally forgot that instead of going to the actual file, you can use the shortcut.
