You know, I've wondered about this on the 920. I always get the standard white background Windows mail client when I start email. Yet, when I compose a new message, it presents with a really nice, black background/white font finger-friendly design that looks consistent with the rest of the touchwiz interface (like the settings panels).

This seemed odd to me -- that they'd reskin parts of the mail sytem, but not the listing and reader portion.

I also find that I don't even have a JINBOX key under HKLM\Software\Samsung.

I do have the email.lnk link, in my Start Menu\Programs folder, it points to \Windows\Email.exe (instead of tmail.exe, the WM defail mail program), but when I execute email.exe, it seems to simply invoke tmail.

What are other 920 owners' experience here?

By way of explanation, I do have Touchwiz turned off, Today disabled, and am using SPB MS3 for my shell. I tried reversing all of this, but it didn't change anything when I ran email.exe.

Any ideas, folks?
