I8000 - Fail checksum

hello can anyone help please urgent i'm without my omnia 2,

i was trying to update firmaware, on seven without sucess, so i tryed on XP and everything was smooth untill i got a erro Fail CheckSum on pc and on pda PAD Fail

can i roll back or something, i tryed hardreset and nothing... everytime i try to turn on nothing happens, only one messagem (icons) thart indicate me to connect the phone to pc

what for USB do you PC have

if you pc have 1.1 all time to you try to flash your omnia 2 will say Fail checksum

if you flash with USB 2.xxx that will help

the different between 1.1 to 2..... is the data transfer so 1.1 is so slow for flash

try to flash with the port to come direct to the motherboard if you have 2.xxx usb

if you dont have any buy usb 2.xx adapter

if the problem keep try with other ROM

tnks for the tip.. but my usb v. is 2.0 and the probs continues, i will try with another rom...

problem solved.... only with other Rom....
