Ok, I am new to this so please be kind.

I have installed this ROM and everything looks good.

Now how do I get it to read contacts from my sim card? When I go to the people page and try to add a contact, I don't get the choice to search my sim card.

Help me please.

I am dheewatara-s from pdamobiz. I'm a noob and first time to post my personal rom at the great modaco. Many people have been test my rom and many great comments from master that helped me to fix many bugs, just to say thank you all guys who helped me. ;)

LITE ROM specifications:

- WM 6.5+

- Lite ROM with some useful free programs. Programs left/added in this Lite ROM: Camera, File explorer, FM Radio, Internet sharing, Calculator, Java, Media Album, Notes and Office 2010, Pictures&Videos, Search, Smart converter, Tasks, TV out, Voice Speed Dial, Windows Media Player, WOW HD SBS, AudioGain Control, ContactFix, Favorite Hackings, GPS_XTRA, GSFinder, NoData, PHM Registry Editor, Power options, Shake&save, Torch Button, and IE.

- Bluetooth audio fix to enable voice dialing via BT headset

You can install Omnia programs by yourself.

Mini-Howto's:

1. Enable wake up by front/any button: This ROM was set by default to front button. Go to settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up and select what you want.

2. Cannot connect to internet: Go to Settings>Connections>Operator settings, Set a different operator than yours wait for 30 secs and then re-enable your default one.

3. Using XDA_UC to install programs automatically Thanks to Noonski

Included in Lite and Extra Lite ROM are XDA UC, which is a brilliant way of installing all your usual cabs after a flash using mort script. The process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention (unless you want to install onto My storage/ Storage card). It will commence a few seconds after starting up and MUST NOT BE INTERRUPTED. Readmore about it HERE. This is how to do it:

3.1. Create a XDA_UC folder on the root of your storage card. In this folder, copy all the cabs you want to have installed onto the main memory.

3.2. In the XDA_UC folder, create a folder called SD. In this folder, place all the cabs that want to install onto Storage card/ My Storage. You will have get the option where to install them. Please note, if you install a cab that needs restarting after install (e.g Office), DO NOT restart, wait til everything’s installed and then restart manually (You will get a message when it’s all done) >>Thanks to Master Nick :(

Known issues: (still unable to solve right now)

1. Finger mouse doesn't work.

as a long-term SPB-mobile-shell-user ( not addicted, but used to it) I cannot say much about M2... functionality, so far, so stable with no obvious memory leaks or whatever oddities.

Only thing that made me want this ROM was: BT-voice-command-fix. That is: Press the button on my BT-head-set and then dial via MS-voice-command. Was possible through Khuanchai's and former PDhee's "meals". Not anymore.

Everything else works, so I have stable WIFI and 3G and reliable GPS ( through PUJA1, so the ROM meets all needs).

Have a good time to use this anyway professional cooked ROM ;)

yeah ock's roms are great but they have a prob with installing Arabic support pkgs, i use MOBiDIV Arabware, just to read sms wee keda
