Guest robot1000 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Hiya :-) Sorry I was too lazy to go downstairs and put it on the car :-) The Car Charger can be found here Charger Paid only £2.50! And the mount Mount Only £3.60 Both do the job very well for me, got excellent suction no chance of it falling off and a good grip on the phone with a spring loaded grasp that feels much better than a £4 value. Well worth it for me and for less than £10 for the both of them can't complain. Can the mount be swivelled to landscape?
Guest craigb244 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 I got a new pulse from t-mobile the other day. came with a car mount and incar charger kit. for free
Guest robot1000 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Yes, it can, in affect obviously the phone has to be put in head first but it works fine, little attention with the volume buttons on insertion but it works :) I am sure there is an app to disable volume buttons anyway. Does it cover the volume buttons when it's in the mount?
Guest -Wii- Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Does it cover the volume buttons when it's in the mount? Yes, but only in landscape but as I said it doesn't necessaries interfere with them and there will be an app to turn them off probably anyway.
Guest nick_sub Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I think this must be the same holder (but with windscreen mount) that sunnnny got in Germany. I've very happy with it; does indeed fit the Pulse like it was made for it.Only slight drawbacks are: 1. you cant rotate it to landscape in situ easily (i.e. you need to refit the holder sideways on the mount) unless I'm being very dense. 2. The location of the spring clip over the USB isn't ideal. But it's not really a problem as you just push it back to fit the cable. 3. The car charger supplied is mini-USB for the HTC phone this was designed for, not microUSB. But I wasn't interested in that anyway. £11 for a solid holder alone is worth it for me. My Halfords spider mount is now residing in the bin :D I just bought one of these too after seeing your posts. Bought it off ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170409794336) It's excellent. Fits the Pulse as a glove just as you said. Also, it's not obvious at first, but the clip over the USB port can just be unclipped and removed. It's not needed in portrait mode and just about holds the phone even in landscape due to the snug fit. A little rubber pad would keep it there even for a long bumpy journey I think. It's really well made too, I can see why this one costs more than some. Also I found the ones with the flexible necks bounce around all over the place but this one is nice and rigid. Thanks for the reccomendation!

Thanks for the reccomendation! I was looking for a smaller one, and ended up getting this one. Haven't really used it but it does the trick :D I'll try to post some photos of it later.
