Guest New Daddy Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 The settings items are far fewer than I used find on a Windows Mobile 6.1 device. Is it Windows Mobile 6.1 or Samsung? For example, I can't find the "Power" setting from Setting -> System. Yes, the power setting is visible from the Samsung UI's settings, but since Spb Mobile Shell that I'm using can only access the native settings from its menu, it's important that all settings be available from the WM native Setting menu. Is there any way to bring back all the missing settings items?
Guest neokl1s Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 SHOW WINDOWS SETTINGS IN START MENU With a registry editor goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ Change Value 'HideSettings' to '0' Soft-reset

For example, I still don't see the power setting in the Setting->System tab. Am I missing something?
Guest tacchan23 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 To do what you want, you need to flash to a custom ROM. The samsung ROMs have the WinMo Settings like that and you can't change it. Anyway, you can access the Samsung Settings from SPB mobile shell too (just make a shortcut widget to it)

I was able to find the Samsung Settings from SPB Mobile Shell just like you said.
