don't know about a registry fix off the top of my head, but I use an excellent program for alarms called Ageye G-Alarm. I highly recommend this app! It comes with many g-sensor an light-sensor settings, an excellent finger friendly interface, and an alarm which you can program to only turn off if you answer a simple math question correctly (can be as easy as 2+2= ?) but you can't even imagine how hard something as simple as that can be to figure out at 6 AM. It will also allow you to set as many alarms as you wish, all with different customizations. Force volume to 100% if you want, and it even has a talking clock (my personal favorite!

Excellent program, check it out... ageye g-alarm i think it has a 14 day trial too.

No doubt G-Alarm is a great program and can switch from on and off flight mode at the alarm time... BUT, only Omnia's built-in alarm has the ability to auto power up the phone.

This is one of the GREATEST thing about omnia2.

Some might argue that battery consumption is minimal when switched to flight mode, but the ponit is, if you're not using it at night, why not just switch the phone off completely and let the buillt in alarm auto-power it up in the moning, right?

Also, the best part about switching off the phone completely is that when you wake up in the morning (with the built-in alarm), the phone is refreshed, and reclaims all leaked memory which so many people complains about.
