Omnia 2 and Ubuntu 9, MP3 with poor quality, skips

I wanted to post this in case someone else had the same issue.

On my ICH-I920 I had really poor mp3 quality and they were skipping and jumping around. Sick! However this wasn't on all the mp3's. We later discovered that the bad mp3's were those copied off my PC that had an installation of Ubuntu 9. The work around for me was to copy the files to a usb drive and then slide the usb drive into a windows machine. When the files are copied to the phone from windows device, all is well!!!!

I tried it again with same results. I have no idea why this is. Oh well.

I almost returned my perfectly good phone and probably would have received a referb.
