Guest guy.user Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Hi, I'm using a branded, but unlocked Omnia 2. (in Canada) I haven't been able to get AGPS working. Would anyone be so kind to upload a copy of registry under: HKLM\Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS I didn't flash the CSC part so there are some carrier's settings left in the registry... Hopefully by replacing them with some generic settings I can finally enjoy the benefit of AGPS... Any input will be greatly appreciated !! Thanks in advance !!

Guest guy.user Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Thank you guys, I will give it a try tonight and report back :)
Guest guy.user Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 it turned out that there isn't much of difference compared to carrier's settings. I really miss the old XTRA style AGPS. I tried to manually enter the xtra download address and set it to enabled, but nothing gets downloaded at all... For now I guess I'm out of luck, without AGPS, Omnia II doesn't get signal lock any faster than Omnia does.....at least for me....
