Guest wick220 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Hey all, There seems to be some distortion on the sound when I have headphones plugged in. Here's the scenario: I use the headphones out to plug into my car's AUX in jack. The default media player on the i8000L is set to a volume of 7/10. It sounds fine when set at 7, but isn't very loud - I have to crank the volume higher on my car so loud that I can hear a humming coming from the speakers. When I turn the volume on the media player to 8 or higher the sound becomes distorted. Does anyone else have this problem? Any way I can fix it? When I plug the AUX into the phone I get the option of "Headphones", "Headset" and "TvOUT". I have to choose TvOut as the other 2 don't work. I've tried several different players (Windows Media, Core Player, Pocket Player) and I get the same result...distorted sound at greater than 70% sound level on the players. I LOVE this phone and hope there's something easy that I can do to fix this...? Anyone? Thanks in advance for any advice/tips.
