Guest jaytuu Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I have the bell Omnia2. My problem is my phone constantly drops calls and drops my internet connection half way through my browsing :) It sounds like the problem the Verizon version is having. But now there's a rom update to fix that for them. Does anyone have the same problem as me or posibly know how to fix whats going on, maybe just a registry hack :S

Especially during the ROM download. I replaced the SIM card and problem solved.

Guest Oscar9 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 The VZN update had to do with the issue of dropped calls, or something to that extent. If your having that problem you should try the update. I'm a little confused as to what you mean by the internet dropping... do you mean the data connection? One thing that VZN phones can't do is simultaneous internet browsing and calling (lol, I saw an AT&T commercial saying how great their service is because you can be on a call and browse the internet at the same time... I have no idea who would actually do that on a constant basis :) ) So if your trying to double dip, won't work.

Well when it comes to the internet droping it gives me an error message "A remote party has terrminated the connection" then after a few seconds it reconnects :S

Guest imstillspinning Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 are you using WiFi or your dataplan? I believe its dataplan- correct me if i'm wrong jaytuu. I face the same issue here in Singapore too. the connection drop happens only when i'm on the browser or the facebook app. messenger is fine so long as either of the other two apps are not launched.
