In this case you badword up the antenna because the picture in the manual is wrong. Only solution: bring it back where you bought it or to samsung service. It happened to me too. If you have not done this, try the following: samsung settings (with the blue ring around it), Networks, Restore connections: it will read the connection settings on your sim card, configure everything and that's it! You don't even need to do a soft reset after, everything will work straight away. Hope this helps Good luck
Guest Mephisto666 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 No i didn't try to soft reset by the manual cause i checked how to from the internet.. anyway i tried the connection restore to but no hope.. the device is not detecting any network in the air... thnx
Guest Dino_Donis Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I had the exact same thing happen to me this week! I tried lots of things to try to sort it an even convinced myself that the hardware must be faulty! In the end I did a HARD RESET and it fixed it. Luckily I do regular backups with SPB Backup and managed to retore everything :-) From memory to do a hard reset:- 1] Turn the phone off and wait 30 seconds. 2] Hold down the volume Up, Standby & Phone(left) Keys.. 3] Whilst doing the above press the Power On button. 4] You should then get a menu come up asking whether you want to format the phone...Do so The phone will be back to factory settings. Note the above did not erase the Internal memory (My Storage). Make sure you back up before doing this!!!!!!!!!! Good luck
