Guest cool_fhatz86 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 i think the answer of your problem is you don't have enough balance to access your internet connection.
Guest skoda60 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Can someone please tell me whats going on here!!!Thank you for bring up this problem which I was facing in the past. Are you using Omnia2 as modem with internet sharing? I think was a activesync bug either on Samsung or Microsoft. And this never happen on Omnia1. The culprit was activesyn trying to sync with the phone and gave this problem.Omnia1 can connected to internet in USB mode with Internet sharing so never happen this problem, but Omnia2 must set USB Connection in activesync mode. After using wmwifirouter 1.61, selected 3G to USB and this never happen on me. This annoying problem especially when you are on dowmloading.

No,no this just happens when Im surfing the internet on my omnia2, NOT WIFI, NOT MODEM, NOT BLUE TOOTH, ETC............... just when Im surfing normaly!!!!! The same thing happens every once and a while when making phone calls but NO error message, the call just gets dropped. Then after a few seconds it connects back to a signal again. This is probably my 5th post about this problem :S Like I've mentioned before its like the phone goes into airplane mode all by its self :S This problem sounds exactly like the problem for the I920 in the states but they got a ROM update!! WTF Im sure some programer out there can find where that patch was in there update, so the rest of us could either do a regestry hack to fix or a cab fix. It would be greatly appreceated!!!!!

Except verizon is on cdma. Any patches would probably not apply to gsm radios.

Oh ya I forgot about that :S I'm still not 100% convinced that its a radio problem, like i said before its like theres a little bug that makes it go into airplaine mode by its self. I dont know I would just like to bring more attention to this subject, because i know im not the only one with this problem
Guest grahamkdt Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Signals get dropped for any number of reasons... network carrier, network volume, weather, etc. I'm in the UK and every network operator tells me they have the best reception in my area. I've tried three different carriers in the last 4 years and not had any issues with my current operator (T-Mobile). I get full 3G+ consistently at home and work. Orange gave me no 3G at home or at work and vodafone only 3G at work and dropped my connection a lot. The best thing to do is try a different GSM radio (not necessarily the latest), or a different carrier. You could contact your carrier and tell them about your issue, may be they can help too :)
Guest sundaymario Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I have this problem before as well. I found out it was due to 2 GPRS connection connecting at the same time and my phone just went to flight mode automatically. I use NoData to disable one of the GPRS connection and so far it does not go into flight mode.
