How to enable qvga video recording in 3gp i8000

To enable qvga video recoring in 3gp video format, in the registry go to

hcu\software\samsung\camera

and then on "SupportQVGAMMS" change value from "0" to "1".

Then, to record in 3gp, with 6 mb per minute registration, go in samsung sms skinned application, and as an mms record a video. That video will be coded in 3gp. This is really intresting. I hope that some one know how to add 3gp support o wvga recording, having better videos...

MP4 > 3GP. If anyone can explain why enabling this would be beneficial, please explain. But I think there is no reason to.

If that's in reference to compatibility sending mms messages, any necessary conversions automatically take place, if I'm not mistaken.

it don't think this is true, mp4>3gp most times, not ever. In this case maybe we can tweak 3gp with more bitrate than mp4, to use better the power of phone...
