Guest ascito Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Once again and sorry for repeting... PLS can someone explane me what are differences between the previous version to which I added 1.5-update-nexusone-modacocustomrom-beta2-signed. THX for your answer! It was a full ere27 as I can read from my device info...
Guest Paul Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 This post is the stock ROM, not a MoDaCo Custom ROM. P
Guest luyen Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 (edited) Titanium Backup does not work on this update. Error could not acquire root privileges,..... MarketEnabler work fine. Edited February 9, 2010 by luyen
Guest Mrlipsticks Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Install 'Quick Boot' from the market to boot back to recovery. P Unfortunately I can't install anything ;) The error is "Download unsuccessful"... I think there's a big issue down there... I checked whether the phone sees it memory and it actually does...
Guest xkonni Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I suspect as much. I don't have a choice in the matter though... I guess that'll teach me to fiddle with the N1 when I'm supposed to be working ;) get firefox portable... works from usb stick without installation :D

Guest janjan2 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Iam missing the keyborad. can´t write any ting. tried to push HTC_IME.apk but still not working .
Guest Mrlipsticks Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Using the stock download? It doesn't touch your data partition. P What do you mean by stock download? How can I do that? I've been looking for the file on the internet bu found nothing ;)
Guest davinic1984 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 hi paul... can you please add wired tethering and wireless tethering to the kitchen please?
Guest Paul Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 The stock kernel doesn't support tethering. P
Guest Paul Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 All kitchen builds now include the MD5 has in the filename, for those who like to verify their MD5s! ;) P
Guest DistortedLoop Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 All kitchen builds now include the MD5 has in the filename, for those who like to verify their MD5s! ;) Excellent! Checking the MD5 might save some needing to re-flash when things just aren't right afterwards, or do some "errors" occurring in the actual baking process?
Guest ReGGaEt0N Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I am trying to fastboot flash boot boot.img I have ran the cmd C:\sdk\tools\fastboot flash boot boot.img Results Sending 'boot' <2044KB>... Now it is just blinking dot. Am I suppose to do something on the physical phone or just patiently wait? In desperate need of help, Thanks ReGGaEt0N

In desperate need of help, Thanks ReGGaEt0N it should say something like "done" pretty soon. takes about 2 sec for me to flash a boot.img. my question is, why do you flash it manually? take the whole .zip and flash it from recovery.
Guest Radissen Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Lately I've been trying to update my Nexus One. It's unlocked but not rooted. When I try to update through OTA the telephone says my system is all up to date even though I am only on 2.1 ERD79. I've tried to follow this guide (ERD79 to ERE27 - official update patch zip) at http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...insecure-himem/ But when I press "apply update.zip" it says: E: signature verification failed Installation aborted What am I doing wrong?

When the bootloader loaded I went into fastboot on the phone. I wasn't able to flash it this way. Only after going went back to bootloader, it was able to communicate and flash the img files via fastboot on my pc. Edited February 12, 2010 by ReGGaEt0N

I got this message when my phone was rooted. You should have gotten the OTA by google by now. Check system updates. I forced an update by wiping my data/cache or doing a factory reset (doesn't delete your appz). Post your Phone's Firmware, Baseband, Kernal Versions and Build Number here. Sounds like you've installed the custom recovery image? Your phone has to be COMPLETELY stock. P
Guest DistortedLoop Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Updated to include ERE36B! P I've already flashed Paul's file update file over CM5, phone works fine, can't test WiFi until later. There's an ERE36B+RIL update linked by a member on XDA forums. It's got the radio image in Paul's update, plus adds /system/lib/libhtc_ril.so That's the specific HTC radio file? It's not necessary as part of the update? I wonder what it adds/fixes, if anything. The checksum is different than what's on the phone with Paul's Cyanogen 5 ROM.
Guest Peter sf Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Updated to include ERE36B! P Paul, is there gonna be an ERE36B kitchen with all the MCR1.5 goodies? (busybox, thethering etc)?
Guest leonardusjeff Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 why i can't download ERE36B radio - update .zip format ? when i click the download link... it doesn't start the download but it's directing me to www.modaco.com ... help..
Guest batista70 Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Flashed, without wipe, with Radio and Superboot with Himem, wi-fi works and seems to have better signal, thanks Paul and thanks Google :D
