Guest jharbin Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I have an Omnia i910 and replaced it with an i920 when the new Omnia II came out in December (Verizon). I have noticed that certain emails are not getting through to my i920 but they will still come through on my i910. They are both connecting to the same Exchange account, the only real difference that I can see (regarding the emails) is that one is 6.1 and the other is 6.5. Does anyone know if Microsoft changed anything in the Pocket Outlook between 6.1 and 6.5 that might have caused this or should I be looking at something else.
Guest CSMR Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 What e-mails are OK, what e-mails are not? Are they all in the Inbox?

They are all in the Inbox (they show up there in Outlook on my Desktop machine). I thought the emails that didn't show up were all in html format, but today I received one that was Plain Text that didn't make it through on my Omnia II. It did come through on the i910 Omnia.

Do you have McAfee virus scanning by any chance? See this article about some emails not syncing.

Thanks very much for the info! I discovered what the problem was. We are using Sunbelt Vipre software and the Outlook Email Protection was preventing the emails from showing up in the Inbox on my phone. This is what we did : regsvr32 -u "C:\program files\sunbelt software\sbeagent\sbamoutlook.dll" Not sure what impact this will have but email protection is still running on my desktop machine.
