Nice theme but there is a bug (not due to your version as original one bugs too) :

unable to assign a contact to a shorcut while long pressing on a dial number.

Anyone manage to do that ?

Give me your mail by MP and I will send you the original one. Waiting for this, try SuperDial (on market) which is worth trying and is bettre than original one (live searching contact while conposing with T9 mode)

you don't need to sign it, if you just modify the existing png.. Just unzip it, change the images you want, and zip it back again, changing file extension to apk.

just another question: do you edit .png files only or .xml too??? I would like to make my own dialer theme.

I tried to replace my Contacts.apk with latest posted, dialer works but when I click on contacts list an error dialog box appears

I'm using ROM 1.008 and main language is Italian

Tries both v4 and v5. They are really nice but there is a issue when using them.

Juste after booting, I have an android.process.acore crash.

Then unable to add or delete any contact.

had to restaure original contacts.apk and issue disappeared.

Using Test2RuAcer_Liquid_1.004.00_EMEA_GEN1 with Lickonn Custom ROM 0.3 patch

This is only for 1.008 version

This is my little contribution : contacts v5 adapted to work with 1.004 roms

To install :

adb remount

adb pull /system/app/Contacts.apk . (backup will be stored in current directory)

adb push Contacts.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk

Chunga, maybee you could add this version to your first post and add a comment on compatibilty with rom versions.

Maybe you have activated usb debuging mode on your phone (Setting / Applications / Devel / Usb debuging checked)
