I had to use Flashrec first of all then rebooted the device into the android system recovery utility and im getting this error when I try to run the update.zip Ok I managed to get to the point where I apply the update.zip using the recovery utility and I got the error E:Cant open /cache/recovery/command Install from sdcard Finding update package... Opening update package... Verifying update package... E:No signature (762 files) E:Verification failed Installation aborted Any ideas? HELP! Getting pretty desperate here, can anyone help? I followed this guide - http://androidforums.com/htc-hero/14833-ho...-orange-uk.html Does this look right to you? I just want to make sure im going about this the right way. I've also re-formatted the the SD card etc, but ive not tried the Gold process yet. I also renames the update files to update.zip, I assume thats ok?
