Guest jebise Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) I just flashed my stock bell i8000l and i did not like the new firmware. Is it just me? I had IJ6 and had no issues with it and had many apps open trying to crash or get it to freeze. On a cold boot the ram i had with stock was around 62MB free with 195MB reserved. Once i flashed the new JA1 reserved was at 208MB and Free was 54MB. It seemed a little slow as well, is it just me? The one thing that i really hated was the settings menu changed i liked have the main menu with icons and test scroll and pick and then go into the submenu. Now it pick item from the top going between a arrow button and no text just icons (wouldn't mind if you could just hold and move you finger across like touckflo). This is gonna sound stupid but the view more button I HATE IT. one of the main reasons why i flashed back to stock bell. Is there a way to disable that and have all the submenus and allow you to just scroll without click a extra button? I know i didn't give it that much of a chance, just tried it for a few minutes and flashed back. So what is so good about JA1 besides it being faster (i found it slower). I just wanna start using my phone since i have yet to start do to firmware changes. Edited January 20, 2010 by jebise
