the Chinese IME by OP named Acer CangJie Acer Chewing (Stock) seems to be the older Acer ROM version (must be pre Acer 2.2 as this is the only version of stock Liquid E ROM i have used)? i mean, it is very different than the Chinese IME i was used to from the stock Acer 2.2 FET ROM...

i'm playing with CedIME today. seems pretty good, although the predictive help still isn't quite as good as the stock Acer one... sigh. luckily i don't really use chinese input all that much.
